The First Steps to Manifesting the Life You Want

By: Gabriele Sogka Reign

We all want to live the life we imagine for ourselves. The difficulty for many is that they aren't aware of how to turn what they imagine into a physical reality. You already have the tools within you already; it's simply a matter of using those tools on purpose. What are these innate tools? They are our thoughts, our words, and our feelings. Sounds simple, but is it? Yes, it is simple. Initially, it may not be easy however. It takes practice to use them wisely and with power. But I get ahead of myself. With the intention of finally living the life you really want to live, and the determination to stay on task, to really pay attention to each tool, you will, sooner than later, be living the very dream that has be elusive up until now. Within each thought you think, you have created an energy that thought carries with it. With each word you speak, to yourself or to others, there is the energy within that word. And within each emotion, is carried an energy that goes out before you.
Conscious awareness of you being part of, and born of, the energy of the creative forces of this Universe is an important awareness to have. It is said that the reason we feel separated from the Creator or Source (as I prefer to define God), is that we believe we are separated. It's the belief in the separation that creates the separation. When you consciously decide that you are connected to that force which created you, you have an entirely different, expanded perception from which to live your life. Suddenly, there are more possibilities, new opportunities; your challenges have less power than they previously had, and the very quality of your life is enhanced and enriched.
Know that the substance of the Universe constantly flows through each particle of your being. How you think and speak and feel are the most powerful tools you possess to help you realize that the energy of the Universe does in fact flow through you, and as you. That substance is always flowing through each aspect of your being, through every part of your life. It's simply a matter of being aware of that: by choosing to be aware of it, you begin to be aware of that universal substance as the experience and as the expression of your life, of you. So now that you're aware that you have the tools of thought, words and feelings already, how do you use them to create your life as you would like to live it?
Energy flows through your thoughts, Notice the quality of energy that accompanies your thoughts. How do you discover what that quality is? Simply by asking yourself to notice what quality the energy of your thought is made of. Are my thoughts empowering me, inspiring me, supporting my dreams? Are my thoughts encouraging, myself and others? Do they help me to see beyond my current circumstances or are they dwelling on the dense energy of an unpleasant circumstance? Do these thoughts keep me down or lift me up?
Energy flows through your words, Notice the quality of energy that accompanies your words. Are the words I'm speaking in alignment with what I would like in my life? Or, are my words reminding me of what I don't have that I do want? Are the words I speak highlighting the absence of my desires or are they highlighting the possibilities of my dreams becoming my reality?
Energy flows through your feelings, Emotions are your energy in motion. Your feelings are a very important indicator of the vibration, depleting or uplifting, that you're holding in this moment. You can be aware of the energy of your feelings by asking yourself, "Are my feelings aligned with what I want or with what I'm not yet living? Do I reach to find a feeling that inspires me, that makes me feel good and that brings more joy to me? Or do I continue to feel the lack I have experienced in my life? Am I choosing to feel good?" As you are born of the creative/creator forces of this Universe, you are a creator. You are creating every moment, in every moment, and as every moment, it's important to command of yourself to make the most of what you're creating. Check, and then calibrate the quality of your energy.
Thought, Word, Feeling, these are the tools with which you create. And since you are the qualifying factor of your creation, you can understand and experience that as you create, and as you send forth that creation, the vibration of like energy returns to you, expanded.
Armed with this knowledge and the understanding that you are creating with the very energy of the Universe, you are actually molding that very energy by consciously deciding to choose the particular quality or qualities you want as part of your energy.
Knowing the value of your own energy and using it, on purpose, is the first step in understanding how to manifest into physical form the life you've always imagined for yourself. Is it not time you create the quality of life you wish to experience? You will be changing your world, you will be changing the world.

The Law of Attraction - Power and the Law of Thinking

The Law of Attraction - Power and the Law of Thinking

Author: tulik

The actual law of attraction, in coherence with the ultimate 11 laws of attraction, states that we manifest or attract to get into our lives those things that we fell and thought of most. This Law of Attraction is realistically based on your human 'vibration'. Our daily feelings and inner emotions have a kind of vibration that we in turn emit into the universe. The universe then uses this particular vibration to plainly attract more of that kind of pulsating tone back into your life. Let's say, you are fulfilled and happy; you are sending out a higher pulsating frequency. Whereas, if you feel you are so depressed and more worried about your personal finances, you are emitting that type of vibration and in turn, more of that kind of pulsating frequency is bounced back into your life.

If you use acquiescence in trying to change your own focus, believe me, they will not work if you don't absolutely FEEL it. And If you are emitting the feeling of being financially desperate, you will in turn attract more of the same pulse to further reinforce what you are actually feeling.

You may ask, how are you going to change the emotional wavering you are feeling and emitting? First and foremost, you must accept and understand that it is because of your emotions that is sending your vibrations, and not your consciousness. Be ready to identify and be truly direct towards the awareness of your actual feelings and your emotional state. If you are truly feeling worried mostly about your finance condition or if you're feeling depressed, this is may not be the right time to practice your positive attitude. Being in total control of your emotions is difficult to just master, and the first step is being aware of your own emotions and then later goes total mastery.

Work with your accession and the other tools when you affirmatively feeling happy, hopeful and positive. With affirmative emotions and your conscious endeavor to attract and display its abundance, the universe will definitely have to bring forth all positive monetary circumstances.

The 11 laws of attraction is frequently at work, even if you are aware of it than not. Its working overtime just to deliver all experiences and corresponding circumstances that matches the actual emotional pulses you emit. Using the law of attraction to your advantage definitely means mastering your emotions. You also must be able to check your negative feelings so that they do not go against your positive ones.

Try focusing more on positive emotions with constant practice of gratitude with what you have. And it is because gratitude is the very powerful tool in reaching abundant affirmations into your life.

These 11 laws of attraction don't automatically mean the universe will just deliver you everything you need just by thinking of your desires. It must be put in the work. The universe will in turn provide opportunities that you wouldn't have otherwise; it will make doors open for you. To achieve it, you must immediately act on the various opportunities presented to you and then allow the universe to bring and lead you to your own happiness, power, wealth, love and whatever it is that you dreamed of.

Find out how the 11 forgotten laws could really help you to make it up.

7 Essential Strategies For Unlocking Your Self-Motivation

Here is a great article by Michael Locklear for you to read...

7 Essential Strategies For Unlocking Your Self Motivation
by: Michael Locklear

"Stop acting as if life is a rehearsal. Live this day as if it were your last. The past is over and gone. The future is not guaranteed."

-Dr. Wayne Dyer

What you occupy your mind with is of great importance to your physical and psychological health. When you learn to gain control of your mind, you learn self motivation and can begin to take control of your life. Here are seven things you can easily do to increase your motivation:

1. Write Down Your Goals

Sit down and write out what you are trying to accomplish. Be as specific, clear, and concise as possible. Why do you really need to complete this project? Knowing what is important to you and being able to take pleasure in accomplishing tasks is an essential success skill.

A study conducted at Dominican University found that people who write down their goals beforehand are much more likely to follow through with them.

2. Make Your Goals Known to Others.

Staying motivated is much easier when you have support from trusted friends and family. It can be difficult to keep on track without some kind of support network.

Telling people in your support network about your goals will help to motivate you. It will create a conflict in the way others see you if you don't make progress. This will create stress which will motivate you to live up to others' expectations.

The same study from Dominican University also found that those who were instructed to send their written goals to a supportive friend were even more successful than those who just wrote down their goals without confiding in anyone.

3. Visualize Yourself Completing the Goal

Visualization is the process of creating a mental image or intention of what you desire to happen. By seeing yourself as happy and healthy, your mind and body will work together to make your image a reality.

Visualization can relieve pain, speed healing, and help the body subdue hundreds of ailments, including depression, impotence, allergies, and asthma.

In a Harvard study, a group of people were told to visualize performing simple tasks in advance. Another group did not visualize the tasks. The group who visualized before taking action had a 100% efficiency rate, whereas those who didn't had only a 56% efficiency rate. Another study, conducted at Yale, demonstrated that patients suffering from depression were helped by imagining scenes in which they were praised by people they admired, a clear boost to their self esteem.

4. Think About The Effects of Completing Your Goal

After you succeed, how will you have benefited? Imagine yourself in the future after you have achieved your goal. Imagine what your life will be like, and how you will feel, when the goal is completed.

5. Think About the Effects of Not Completing Your Goal

Fear can motivate you as well. People don't like to be considered failures and this can be a motivator, the fear of regret being the consequence.

6. Take it One Step at a Time

If you try to do everything at once, you will be easily overwhelmed. Just relax. Keep your goal as clear and simple as possible. Being overwhelmed can paralyze you, keeping you from achieving your goals.

As with any major goal, the key to building self motivation is to start small. Every day, take a few steps toward recovery. As time goes on, your achievements will build up.

"Dream small dreams. If you make them too big, you get overwhelmed and you don't do anything. If you make small goals and accomplish them, it gives you the confidence to go on to higher goals."

-John H. Johnson

7. Challenge Your Negative Thoughts

Sometimes our inner critic can cripple our motivation. Whenever you have a negative thought, ask yourself these questions:

a. Is this thought true?

b. Do I have absolute proof that it is true?

c. How do I feel when I have this thought?

d. How do I feel when I don't have this thought?

Identifying and questioning your thought patterns is the key to overcoming negative thinking. Once you are in the habit of challenging your thoughts, self motivation will come much easier.

Does it work for you?

How many of you out there think the Law of Attraction isn't working for you? That's a question that many people seem to put their hand up to. But here's another question...are you really sure? Remember the Law of Attraction works whether you think so or not, our whether you're attracting positive stuff or negative stuff. Simply by thinking you're not attracting something positive, you are attracting negativity. You are focusing on the not. You need to change your thought process like world-renowned Law of Attraction speaker and author Michael Losier describes and think about what you DO want instead of what you DON'T. Then you need to cast away all doubt and allow what you want to come to you. It takes practice but anyone can do it. The hardest part is the removal of all doubt...this is programmed into our minds but all you need to do is hit the Reset button, like Michael says, and off you go. Make sure you get a copy of his book and follow exactly as he says. If you ever get a chance, try to see him speak live. I got a chance to see him myself and then chatted with him. He is truly inspirational and full of energy. I highly recommend him. A must see.

Till next time, here's to your success.

Cheers
Hello again, everyone!

Our theme this time around is "Gratitude". Very often, we don't acknowledge some of the great things we have or we don't even realize how lucky or abundant we are. This doesn't mean having a lot of money and being rich. That can be a part of it, but just a small part. It's important to think about all that you have and be grateful for it. And when you do that, you are projecting positive vibes and attracting more of the same. Be grateful for things such as your family and friends, your car, your house, your talents, or maybe for the neighborhood you live in, the teams or groups you belong to. The list goes on. You acquired these things, whether material or not, by attracting them to you and it's important to be grateful for that.

Gratitude can be expressed in many different ways. Some people like to make a list and pick something off that list to be especially grateful for that day. Others keep a list in a handy place where they can see every morning and read through daily. Others show there gratitude by praying and others just sometimes realize in thought that they are grateful for what is happening to them in the moment. Some people even dance! That's right, they dance! There are a couple of great guys from British Columbia, Canada, that have invented something called "The Gratitude Dance". You can view it in the video below and you can visit their website at http://www.thegratidudes.com/ .

Enjoy and see you next time.

Gratitude

Hi everyone. I subscribe to a regular email from a service called Daily Gratitude. I would like to share one of those with you in this post. It goes as follows:

"He who is not contented with what
he has will not be contented with
what he wants to have."
Socrates

There's a real difference between
being contented and satisfied, and
you want to be one, but not the
other.

To be contented is to be appreciative
and grateful for what you have, to see
your life as being fully supplied with
everything you need.

To be satisfied is to say that this is
the best it's going to be, and to give
up on anything better.

The key to a successful and advancing
life is to be contented, and dissatisfied!

That is, to be grateful for everything in
your life, and to also know that you can
make it better.

Gratitude is the attitude that comes from
contentment, from appreciation of what
you have, and gratitude creates a
powerful force that makes it possible
for it to be even better.

Wallace Wattles says that "gratitude
is what keeps us connected to the
Source of all the good things we desire."

So be grateful, but not satisfied. See the
good that you have as just a small token
of how good it can be, and resolve to
press on.

Gratitude creates miracles!

Something to think about, isn't it. It goes along the line of really being grateful for what you do have and the good things that you have manifested and the abundance to come. The trick is to really believe you can attract the abundance you desire...remember the Law of Attraction doesn't know the difference between what you do want or what you don't want...just what you are thinking about now...so make sure your focus is on the wants.

In the meantime, and on the subject of attracting what you do want, my wife and I were able to manage to get ourselves to Country Music Week in Vancouver, B.C. which culminates with the CCMA awards show on Sunday. Yes, I am a big country fan (but I love rock and all kinds of other music, too) and my wife Shelly is a singer / songwriter and we are mainly attending to learn more about the music business at various seminars and to meet up with friends and do a bit of networking. It all starts on Thursday (tomorrow). It's going to be a lot of fun, I'm sure.

Got to pack, so till next time,

Cheers!

Busy, busy, busy!

Hi, everyone.

Wow! Does time ever fly. I can't believe it's been so long since my last post. I have too many interests and they keep me hopping. Besides working a full time job, I've been somewhat involved in music more and more over the last month...I look after the business side of things for my wife's music career in the making and now my daughter is also in a great little rock band so I lend my technical and artistic support there also when I can. On top of that, I am a soundman and worked one of the stages at a folk festival on the weekend of July 24th to 26th. Then this coming weekend (August 8th), I'm doing sound for an outdoor concert that features a celtic-rock band and a Neil Young tribute band. It's going to be a blast. Then the next day, my family and I are off on a 3-week road trip that includes visits with a bunch of family and friends in BC and Alberta. We are really looking forward to it.

If you are a repeat visitor to this blog, I really hope you are working on "allowing". If you're new, read the previous blog posts then return to this one. "Allowing" is the most crucial component of the Law of Attraction. You need to remove ALL doubt that you can manifest whatever it is you desire. And don't forget, you must think about what you DO want and not what you DON"T. Remember, the Law cannot distinguish between DO and DON'T, only what you are thinking at the present time. I will leave you with a YouTube video of Micheal Losier explaning how to "reset" your negative vibrations. Enjoy and see you in a few weeks.

Proud of my wife!

My wife, Shelly Dubois, is a very talented singer/songwriter. She has written many songs and has performed solo or in various bands for many years. Last year, she released an awesome new CD called "I'm Not Lookin' Back". Unfortunately, shortly after the CD was released, our oldest daughter passed away of brain cancer at the age of 20. This affected us very deeply and of course, the CD promotion was put on hold. Recently, Shelly has started to feel the need to play music and sing again. She is definitely not yet ready to take the stage but we are letting as many people as possible know that her music is out there and available to be heard. Her CD can be purchased through her website ( www.shelly-dubois.com) but it will also soon be available for download on iTunes, eMusic, Rhapsody, Napster, and Amazon. The CD is in the Country genre and includes snappy country-rock, soulful ballads, traditional fare and everything in between.

You'll find a mini-music player in the sidebar on the right where you can hear her music. You are encouraged to vist her profile at www.reverbnation.com/shellydubois and even become a fan. All your support is greatly appreciated.

Thanks a million.

Staying Focused

Sometimes, many people find it difficult at times to stay focused on positive thoughts. With all that is going on around us and throughout the world, it's easy to get caught up in the negativity that can sometimes surround us. If this is how some of you feel, fear not, you are not alone. All it takes is a bit of a "time out" where you find a nice quiet place to sit or lay down and turn any negative thoughts into positive ones. The idea is to think about what you DO want instead of what you DON'T want. Micheal Losier describes that clearly in his book, Law of Attraction: The Science of Attracting More of What You Want and Less of What You Don't. What you need to do is jot down the negative thoughts you have and then beside them, write down the opposite of what you don't want. For example, if you are focusing on the negative thought of "I'm always in debt.", then you should write down "I want to be financially independent.". Do this with any negative thought you have and you'll soon have a list of positively oriented goals.

Now that you've written these positive goals and thoughts down you will need to remove all doubt that these things will manifest in the future. This step is called "allowing". This is the most important step in using the Law of Attraction. This step can also be the most difficult one since doubt is so ingrained in our mindset from an early age that it makes it a challenge to truly believe that our positive thoughts, goals and dreams can manifest themselves.

How do you know you are manifesting your thoughts, good or bad. Make note of what you think about the most and over the next several days see if you are attracting it or even parts of it. Chances are, you will see manifestation at work at many levels. To make this interesting, think about any "coincidences" you've encountered in the past. Very likely, they are a result or something you attracted with your thoughts. Write them all down...you'll be surprised how long your list will get.

At this point, I'd like to recommend that you find Michael Losier's book and read it front to back and do the exercies he describes. You'll find it very straight-forward and easy to read. You can find it at Amazon.com at this link: http://www.amazon.com/s/180-1078460-6482144?ie=UTF8&keywords=michael%20losier&index=blended .

Till next time, cheers.

Proof It Actually Works

Every once in a while, some things manifest themselves in bunches. I've experienced it before and it's a very surreal feeling at times. Why I bring this up is because it just happened to my wife and I over the past week or so. My wife, who is a singer / songwriter had just been talking to me about looking to promote her new CD and learning a bit more about what is involved and what steps need to be taken to put together a small promotional tour, how to connect with an agent, and those sorts of things. The next day, by "chance", she stumbled upon a website promoting a music business conference in a city a few hundred kilometers away that would show musicians and recording artist just that and more. She commented to some friends a few days later about the conference and one of them said, "If you need a place to stay over there, I've got a condo at the nearby ski resort you are welcome to use. Just come by and get the keys!". Now how handy is that. With my own job, I sometimes need to be on call and it just so happened that I was scheduled to be on call at the same time the conference was being held, so it looked like I was going to miss it. (I look after online CD and download sales as well as my wife's website, do sound for the live shows, and have a keen interest in becoming her full time manager.) Just for the heck of it, I put out a request for someone to cover my on-call for the weekend of the conference and within two minutes, someone came forward to do it...and just like that, I can go to the conference.
It is amazing how things can manifest themselves so quickly and even smoothly when the Law of Attraction is at work. You have to be careful about that, too. I'll be the first to admit that getting out of a habit of focusing on negative things can be very difficult. As a society, we have been conditioned by the media and even friends and family at times to complain about what we don't have or want instead of thinking about what we do have or want. I occasionally find myself thinking negatively for a while before I even realize it. That's when I sit back and change my perspective and turn things into a positive. To continually stay in a positive state does take practice but anyone can do it, and the more you do it, the easier it gets. Think about how much negative conditioning you have been exposed to, probably many, many years, maybe even since childhood. To change that type of conditioning may not happen overnight, but no matter how long it has been, it is reversible and with patience, you will soon see good changes manifesting in your life. Even if they are small changes at first, they are changes. Write them all down and you will soon have a long list before you even realize it.
We are still looking for any manifesting stories you may have that we could post on our website to show people that it really does work. We want to share this with as many people as possible.

Till next time, take care.
